Location
The institute is situated at Kanke, Ranchi in the state of Jharkhand, India and is 10 kms. from the heart of the city. It is built amidst an idyllic surrounding facing land scaped garden, pathways and vast green belts. It is a serene retreat from distractions of outside world and provides the right kind of learning ambience to practising managers.
Climate
Ranchi, the capital of Jharkhand is situated in Chhotanagpur plateau, at an altitude of 652 meters (2000 ft) with temperate climate. Temperature during summer hovers around 25o to 40o C, whereas in winter it is 5o to 25o C. Monsoon experiences medium to heavy showers. Winter clothing is recommended from November to March.

Ranchi has daily flights to connect Delhi, Kolkata, Mumbai and Patna. Since these flight schedules keep on changing, airlines offices need to be contacted for current timings.
Local Transport
IICM is situated in the outskirts of the city, about 10 Kms from the heart of the city (Albert Ekka Chowk). It is 13 Km from Ranchi Railway Station, 15 Km from Hatia Railway Station, and 17 Km from the Airport. The most common mode of transport is autorickshaws. However, availability of public transport facility to & from IICM gets reduced after 8.00 pm in the evening.
